as announced earlier, we shall be celebrating 07.07.07 by gorging ourselves to the fullest at the shang's lemongarden restaurant...
the extent of the food orgy (complete with colour illustrations) shall be published in due course.
in furtherance of the said lunch, we have been exercising admirable restraint over here, and only having our main meals, without any dessert or ice cream, whatsoever... clap everybody! you're proud of us, we know...
today has been brought to you by the number 7 (a little in advance), and the letter R for restraint and also for roti canai (which we haven't had all week), rambutan (which we have been eating to compensate for the lack of ice-cream) and rules (which there have been a lot of in the past week, as we are in the midst of educating our poor chambering students; a sample rule being if we call you and tell you to join us for tea, you have no choice but to drop whatever you are doing and come have tea with us. Another obvious rule being that lunch is compulsory - you cannot skip lunch).
