Family Day + Durians

I know it's a bit late, but i just wanted to let you know that we had our family day on 26th April 2007 at kavi's place at pantai hill park. it was a great outing. actually it was an outing and an "ining" : the outing being at the swimming pool at kavi's condo, and the ining being a buffet lunch and movie (Holiday) at kavi's place.

The attendees were kavi (somebody had to let us in, right?), shan, mehala, avinash (in his inaugural appearance at a firm function), gitanjali, pramodini, ms and me. There was a special cameo appearance by Jit (Kavi's fiance).

Food (i know you need to know) - chips and dips (for starters) followed by spaghetti bolognese ala chicken, potato salad (masquerading as the token vegetable dish), roast chicken (2 types) and a cheese trifle as desert and a toast to His Majesty's health. Very satisfying, i must say.

The family day was such a success, that we decided to celebrate the 2 month anniversary of it on monday with a durian and baileys party at kavi's place. Thankfully by the time Gitanjali and i turned up, the durian had diminished, and the baileys hadn't started. This time, the durian eaters were Uncle Chandran, his lovely assistant Zubeidah, our lovely (admin) assistant esther, shan, vasuge (our brand new chambering student - it was her first day with us), mehala, kavi and ms (gitanjali had 1 piece).
