As far as the office pool is concerned , kalai and myself (the hardcore fan of italy) have won the office pool over ms, kgs, sg and many more who placed their trust on so-called teams who konon-nya plays attacking football. the facts speaks for itself on who played attractive football throughout the tournament.
why Brazil didnt win:
a) they for all their super-star players have only won once in Europe though they have won it for a record 5 times.
b) they were coached by the same coach who coached Brazil to the 1994 finals by playing boring and unattractive football - if not for Romario even that team would have been doomed. (so cakap banyak saje, samba football)... atau samba football sudah tukar ka jadi boring.
c) world cup can only be won by teams and not individual star players.
d) Ronaldo is a fat pig (admit it) and his era is over.
why Holland didnt win:
a) the total football system never worked
why Germany didnt win:
a) you can win the cup with boys, they are young lads who will be good for the next world cup but not now.
why France didnt win:
a) its a one-man team
b) the horse called zidane has used up all the tricks in the bag. he showed that he can dumb enough to bring his wonderfull career to an end in a stupid way.
finally the world cup fever comes to an end, italy and their fans will be celebrating for the next for 4 years. South Africa awaits italy as the world cup holders.
