i got to blog..at last
i got to blog at last.after many months of being away.i was on leave for 2 months..they call it confinement for a reason.you are actually confined in the house to your room to your bed..you are confined to meals which in normal circumstances will never make it to your plate..you are confined to your baby *the only good part*, you are confined to the same routine*eat, sleep,feed the baby*-just keep on saying the same thing over and over and over again because that's what happens to you and the worst part- your mind is also confined to the same thoughts day in day out - for example..oh! the baby is hungry, feed him ... oh!the baby soiled his diaper, change it ... oh!the baby is crying, i think he is sleepy... yup! this is why it is called confinement period.
but, when the day came for me to return back to the office, i was a little anxious...questions like would i fit back well into my job, would i be miserable being away from avinaash (my baby) and vice versa, would i know how to do my work.. say to prepare for a trial(silly as it is, its true), would i be able to cope with motherhood as well as work and many more "woulds". ive already been working for 9 days now and still havent figured out the answers to these questions... maybe there's no answer to these questions.
like i said, ive been away for a long time..say for 9 months plus another 2 months..11 months in total.missed out lots, lost out lots too... the familiarity has just sunk in...bosses and colleagues have been wonderful...a great help and support actually..especially in the last 4 months..thanx to ms, sg, seran and pv and kgs who actually baby sat my files. kgs, i will definitely return the favours anytime... so dont hesitate to get pregnant.. i mean to get married and then get pregnant... sg, i wont disrupt your schedule for the next 2 years..so go ahead.pv, i promise i will not bully you... i will reserve it for the next chambering pupil...
