Home Alone!
The title says it all. Here we are in the office this morning - just the three of us - Mathavi, Shanti and me. Ajeet came in at 9.00, met with a Mr. Chua (Sri's client) and signed a couple of letters. We kept her busy. She promised to be back tomorrow morning. So we got to get all our letters ready to be signed tomorrow morning.
The office is too quiet, but work goes on. The telephone has been ringing as always. I can hear the typing and filing of papers going on. No court work today for me, so I am in the office early. Am in 'charge' for the rest of the day. No problem there as Sri has got the young ones so well trained, they know what to do. (psst.. I even took instructions from Mathavi.. all in a day's work.
Lunch in office is just me. The two ladies had lunch date. Unc. Maniam came in at 1.30 p.m. to collect the despatch.
I am sure Gitanjali and Sri are enjoying themelves thoroughly. I can almost hear Kavi, Lourdes and Shan groaning as they drag themselves uphill. For MS - the walk-up is just 'kacang' and 'no sweat' (I hope). I pray they have fine weather for the uphill task and that the flora and fauna are 'putting themselves out' for these climbers.
