12th january highlights
hello everyone! merry christmas, happy new year - a wee bit late i know, but what to do? have been busy, busy busy...
the annual dinner was a blast. we all had fun despite the salty food and the rainy weather. am yet to post the photos b'cos shan has failed to deliver them to us - so beat him when you see him next...
the rain has continued into the new year, and just as we thought we had finished pigging out, apparently chinese new year is around the corner!!! will the madness never end? aaaarrrggghh!
probably should not think about waistline at all until we are well past february....
and as we sludge wetly on to february, these are the highlights of january thus far:
1. shanti has joined us and we like her
2. pramodhini is fitting in comfortably
3. kavi has new corporate image
4. we have a new look for the pantry with a new dining table (10 seater to accomodate all our guests) and a new kitchen cabinet (coming tomorrow)
5. we have biscuits and tea (yay!)
6. mehala is 7 months pregnant
7. madhavi is going for driving lessons
8. my birthday is tommorrow and i am currently in the middle of the one week birthday celebrations (yay! surprise cake tomorrow...)
9. we have replacement plants to make up for the plants eaten by the rats in august.
10. gitanjali has a new desk, two chairs and a pink stool for her office...
11. shan's hair is looking better
12. ms (aka darth vader) is looking yummy wearing new green tie that madhavi got him for christmas
that's it i think. on the downside, we are all feeling unwell. the moment one person gets better from the flu, another one is coughing and sneezing, not to say dripping...
today has been brought to you by the number 13 and the letter P for psychotic potato
phrase for the day: "Aiyo samy" (lovingly coined by shan) - apparently it means: sign of relief... don't ask me why. have not been clued in either...
