TOP SECRET: extremely good news

it's eu de stinko again in the office. can't find the dead rat, although he is announcing his presence loudly (probably should say pungently). as if that isn't bad enough, the haze in kuala lumpur is so bad, that you can smell the smoke indoors. can't say which is worst, the dead rat smell or the smoky smell. you might say no contest, but the smoke makes breathing difficult, and is giving everyone a headache, despite the fact that we haven't left office all day...the competing smells are so bad, its almost like they are two physical presences in the office. yuck.

tomato rice and chicken today. v. yummy. shan came by. madhavi made tea, and we all had biscuits. we have extremely good news, but cannot tell you yet. you'll just have to wait it out, i guess.

ms invited a tehnggah to have tea with us, but luckily the tehnggah drank the tea and ran away...
