darshini in the office
every morning, i open up this blog, with the hope that someone else may have posted on it, but no, it looks like these past few months, i have been the sole contributor. it is very exasperating sometimes, but i struggle along, hoping that one day my team members will hop in and surprise me.
anyway, you will be glad to know that the haze is not so bad today. at least you can see some of the buildings on the horizon. we have a new clerk (again!!) today. Darshini. she just confessed to me that she is feeling v. scared. How? can't remember the last time i had a first day at work. it must have been about seven years ago!!! gitanjali is in the office , so darshini has a friend.
mehala has called in sick today. madhavi lost her voice last friday, and todate has failed to find it. Kavi is unwell, but in the office. shan has not put in his appearance for the day, and muhendaran has a headache. looks like gitanjali and i are the only healthy sailors in this ship.
we are just about to go off to get lunch. ajeet's coming. me thinks it be the food of the chinee today. ajeet is sponsoring lunch.
