Saturday and henceforth

gitanjali's birthday barbeque. it was sooooo tiring. did not think it would have been - in fact (and my nearest and dearest can vouch for me here), i doubt i would have thought of this thing if i had known that it would be so much work. There was so much to do!!!

Poor Shan and Kavi (my extremely able volunteers) were totally fagged by the end of the night. i was extremely harassed (also exhausted - but it was my event , so i guess i cannot really complain...). Gitanjali had great fun. all the kids had great fun.

The food: barbeque (in my special coca cola marinade), mashed potato (kavi's speciality), coleslaw (mehala's speciality), creme caramel (Fuiyo!! extremely yummy. Lourdes' speciality), birthday cake, tuna sandwiches, mee hoon (noodles), sausages, fruit cocktail and watermelon

sunday was spent opening all the presents...

monday -
madhavi still not in. good news is prayma (the new clerk) is still here. shan turned up. stayed for lunch. ajeet was here as well. chinese food with petai...kavi and mehala ragged shan and made him read the law books...


tuesday - largely mundane day, the only highlight being kavi walking around half naked (if you consider that a highlight...i didn't). indian food. ajeet...

today- chinese food. parvin's birthday. ajeet and kumar came over. apparently shan came over as well, but i cannot verify it as i didn't see him.
