ransom's girl

mehala's back. ransom (the fighting fish) has a girlfriend (but dark deeds are in the offing...he doesn't know shan played a dirty trick on him, and got him a pregnant girlfish...). He was chasing her around the bowl all of yesterday, but is just hanging out today.

we didn't pierce gitanjali's ears after all. probably this weekend. we'll keep you posted.

we celebrated mehala's return to the fold yesterday by eating and eating (what's new, say you...). we had lunch and tea (as do most mortals) and ice cream and surulappalam.

shan bought mehala a fighting fish for her home, and kavi bought her a bowl (as part 1 of her wedding present), so mehala has a new family member. He is unnamed (pronounced oon-nah-med) until further notice. she welcomes suggestions, so please post a name in the comments for her...

madhavi's fish is coming tomorrow.

i have a trial tomorrow, so shall be busy the rest of the day preparing for it. The office is quite now as kavi's still in court. She's de noize...
