of fans and weddings
today is mehala's last day in the office as a singleton. she's starting her leave on monday, and will only be back in 2 weeks, as a newly wed Mrs. Gobi. We shall miss her. i finished off my affidavit today. have been malingering with it for the past-don't-know-how-many-days. its 4pm already. tea time.
surprisingly quite in the office today. let me tell you. kavitha is busy with submissions plus she has a trial on monday. so she's pounding away at her pc, with only one fruit break and one cheezels break so far. no lunch...she's not even letting us have the music on...she has promised to jump aroun at 5.30 though, as one of her clients is coming in to drop off a cheque for us.

horror story of the day:
we had a suicide story for lunch. one of madhavi's ex neighbours hanged herself on the fan ( i always wonder about this. how do they know they can do this? what if the fan just falls off on them? i wonder whether before they do it, they think about this?)
when they found her, her tongue was hanging out up to her waist!!!!!???!!!
apparently the doctors and mortuary people were stumped. they had never seen a dead body like that before, and they had to roll the tongue up and tie it before they laid her in the coffin!!!!
